Klein ISD
The fine arts wing of Hofius Intermediate School was named the Lyle Lovett Fine Arts Wing on Oct. 8, acknowledging the country music star who attended Klein ISD schools. A tentative dedication date was set for Nov. 15, KISD officials said.
Spring ISD
The board of trustees on Oct. 9 approved a $20 million construction package for its eighth middle school, set to open in 2019.
