With 61 of 61 precincts reporting, Julie Benes won Position 4 on the Klein ISD board of trustees, receiving 17,814 of 45,421 votes cast in the race, according to voting results provided by Harris County.
Incumbent Steve Szymczak received 17,116 votes in the Position 4 race.
Chris Todd won Position 3, with 22,000 of 46,160 votes.

With 60 of 61 precincts reporting, Julie Benes won Position 3 on the Klein ISD board of trustees, according to voting results provided by Harris County.
Benes has received 17,679 of 45,071 votes, while incumbent Steve Szymczak received 16,970 votes.
Chris Todd won position 3, with 21,832 of 45,802 votes.

Chris Todd appears headed for victory for Position 3 on the Klein ISD board of trustees, according to unofficial results.
With 51 of 61 precincts reporting, Todd has received 20,841 of 43,655 votes.
"I’m humbled and excited, and at the same time I’m ready to get to work," Todd said in a phone interview Tuesday night. "The very first thing I will do is to ask a lot of questions and try to understand the ... overall status of the district ... I have a lot of perspective now from the community and certainly heard a lot from inside the community, and now I need to see the other side as well and how those two things come together."

With 10 of 61 precincts reporting, Julie Benes has overtaken the lead for Position 4 on the Klein ISD board of trustees, with 13,331 votes over incumbent Steve Szymczak. Szymczak trails behind with 13,315 votes.
Chris Todd has maintained his lead for Position 3, with 17,039 votes.

With early and absentee votes reporting for the Klein ISD board of trustees races, one incumbent has an early lead and another race with no incumbent will see a new trustee take the position.
Chris Todd has taken an early lead for Position 3 on the Klein ISD board of trustees, after early voting results were reported by Harris County. Todd has received 15,992 of 33,096 votes.
Challenger Seth Batiste has received 8,994 votes, while Vijay Patel has 8,110 votes.
Meanwhile, the race for Position 4 between incumbent Steve Szymczak and challenger Julie Benes is closer. Szymczak has received 12,585 of 32,493 votes, and Benes has 12,462. Wade Fennel has 7,446.
Election Day results have not yet been reported. All results are unofficial until canvassed.
