The deadline for candidates to file in the Nov. 6 election was Aug. 20 at 5 p.m.

In Spring ISD, where two three-year board of trustee seats for positions 6 and 7 are available this year, only the incumbents filed before the Monday deadline. However, the deadline to submit as a write-in candidate is Friday, Aug. 24 at 5 p.m., officials said.

Don Davis will seek re-election to Position 6 and Jana Gonzales will seek re-election To Position 7.
