BREAKING: Spring, Klein ISDs announce Wednesday school closures due to winter weather warning

Updated: 5:08 p.m. Jan. 16 Klein ISD and Spring ISD each announced on their respective social media pages that classes and after-school activities canceled on Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to dangerous road conditions.

Klein ISD will remain closed Wednesday, January 17, 2018, due to the dangerous road conditions forecasted to continue overnight and into tomorrow.

All after school activities are also cancelled.

— Spring ISD (@SpringISD) January 16, 2018 5:42 p.m. Jan. 15: Spring and Klein ISDs on Monday announced on their respective websites that classes and activities will be canceled on Tuesday, Jan. 16, due to hazardous weather conditions predicted by Harris County and the National Weather Service. According to the notices on the district websites, after-school activities including the scheduled board of trustee meetings are canceled.
