Klein ISD will offer five new accelerated college pathways through a partnership program with Lone Star College System this fall.
Beth Gilleland, executive director of college and career pathways at KISD, said the program allows students to gain college credit in high school.
The new pathway subjects are advanced nursing, global business, automotive technology, advanced manufacturing and electrical technology.
Students will be able to earn certification and an associate of arts degree in the fields of nursing and business as well as certification in technical fields that the program offers.
