Mama's Pizza in Spring permanently closed its doors Jan. 17, according to a social media post from the franchise owners.

The North Texas-based pizza restaurant opened in Spring in late 2024, marking the first and only Houston-area location, Community Impact previously reported. The eatery, located in a plaza near I-45 and the Grand Parkway, specialized in East Coast-style pizza and wings, according to its website.
"To our customers, thank you for showing up, cheering us on and giving this place a soul," franchise owners Charles and Kendyl Parker wrote in the announcement. "Your support meant more than you know."
