Tavo’s Mexican Grill—owned by siblings Efrain Hernandez, Lorena Hernandez and Yolanda Hernandez along with chefs Guillermo Alvarez and Isidro Rebollar—is now operating in Spring. The restaurant was launched after the Hernandez family lost one of their brothers to coronavirus in 2020, according to the business’ website.

Tavo’s Mexican Grill serves Tex-Mex and traditional Mexican cuisine, such as quesadillas, nachos, tacos, enchiladas and fajitas. The restaurant also has a location in Cypress that opened in May.
