Nine months after opening, officials with Local Bake & Toffee Cellar announced the closure of the Spring-area bakery effective July 15.

Owned by John and Jordan Havens, Local Bake & Toffee Cellar was located at 17297 Stuebner Airline Road and opened in October.

The restaurant served breakfast items, such as muffins, chocolate knots, breakfast hand pies, kolaches and coffee, as well as lunch items, such as sandwiches and pizza. Baked goods, such as cakes, cookies, cupcakes and toffee were also available. 281-376-4554.
