Beauty & Confidence Electrolysis offers permanent hair removal at Spring facility

Beauty & Confidence Electrolysis officially opened April 1 at 5529 Louetta Road, Ste. A, Spring, after beginning its soft opening phase Feb. 28. Owner Angie Quiroz said she and fellow electrologist James Hilton offer a permanent hair removal process called electrolysis, which has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

James Avery Artisan Jewelry to open in Westwood Village Shopping Center on April 7

James Avery Artisan Jewelry will open April 7 at 33020 FM 2978, Ste. 531, Magnolia, in Westwood Village, according to an April 1 news release. The Texas-based, family-owned retailer offers finely crafted jewelry designs for men and women in sterling silver, 14K and 18K gold, bronze and gemstones.

Tomball's Street Food Guru offers variety of authentic Asian foods, celebrates first anniversary amid pandemic

According to business owner Sean Hoang, Street Food Guru customers can skip the drive to Houston’s Asian district and instead get authentic dishes such as pho, banh mi sandwiches and Singapore noodles right in Tomball.

Boricua’s Bakery expanded to open its first formal storefront location at 1512 Ave. C, Katy, in early March. The bakery sells a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies and desserts.
