More than 130,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the nine Spring-Klein-area ZIP codes as of March 28.

According to the Texas Department of State Health Services, 131,604 vaccine doses have been administered, and 43,998 residents are fully vaccinated.

ZIP code 77379 has the most vaccine doses administered at 33,841, while ZIP code 77389 has the highest percentage of its population vaccinated at 46%. Health experts have previously said between 70%-80% of the population would need to be vaccinated to provide herd immunity.

All Texas adults age 16 or older became eligible for the vaccine March 29.
