As of Nov. 6, both Spring and Klein ISDs have more than 20 active COVID-19 cases, though cases by campus and grade level still remain low.
SISD has 23 active cases—16 staff and seven student cases. The majority of these cases are in middle schools across the district, though the number of cases is still relatively low at only five for all middle schools. The district did see its first kindergarten case for a student.
Unlike SISD, KISD has more student cases than staff. Out of its 21 cases, 13 are among students and eight are staff members. KISD elementary schools continue to have the highest case counts, with eight on Oct. 9 and nine on Nov. 6.
