DATA: Confirmed, active COVID-19 cases by ZIP code in Spring, Klein for Aug. 4

Editor's note: This post will be updated daily with the latest data from Harris County Public Health.

As of Aug. 4, 3,456 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across nine Spring- and Klein-area ZIP codes, according to data reported by Harris County Public Health. This number has increased by 119 cases since Aug. 3 and includes 1,239 active cases, 2,179 recoveries and 38 deaths.

Since July 10, the 77090 ZIP code has reported a total of five deaths from COVID-19, however July 21 data reported one less death. Community Impact Newspaper has reached out to Harris County Public Health and the City of Houston Health Department on why the 77090 ZIP code has one less death than what was reported prior to July 21.


As of Aug. 4, Harris County Public Health reported a total of 79,543 confirmed cases in Harris County–including 33,300 active cases, 45,454 recoveries and 788 deaths. Comprehensive data for Harris County can be found here.
