Through methods, such as microcurrent neurofeedback, the practice helps alleviate mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression and ADHD with natural solutions, reducing the need for medication.
“[Microcurrent] neurofeedback helps to rebalance the brain, and it helps the brain to heal itself,” Martin said. “So it's a natural way of alleviating all kinds of mental and physical health issues.”The approach
Martin said she was formally trained in IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback in 2019 and is certified to perform microcurrent neurofeedback treatments.
Through microcurrent neurofeedback, The Mind Connection utilizes small sensors that detect and monitor brainwaves and send electric signals to a computer and electroencephalogram, or EEG, processor. The treatment is designed to help the brain rebalance and reorganize itself to heal various mental health conditions.
Martin said that unlike traditional neurofeedback, patients who receive IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback often notice changes either immediately or within the first few sessions.
The Mind Connection also offers a natural health shop with formulated BrainMD supplements and other organic and nontoxic products, such as Vitamin D, magnesium and hormone supplements. The impact
After personally experiencing microcurrent neurofeedback in 2019, Steinert said she felt compelled to join Martin in her mission to help as many clients as possible.
In a recent case, Steinert said she helped a client recover from a traumatic brain injury who has since regained mobility, speech and the ability to eat without a feeding tube, after a year of consistent microcurrent neurofeedback sessions.
“I mean, [the doctors] were all just pretty astonished because they never thought that he would be anywhere close to where he is today,” Steinert said.
To date, The Mind Connection has helped over 500 patients through microcurrent neurofeedback, Martin said.
