H-E-B stores across Texas have limited store hours and placed purchase limits on some high-demand products due to the ongoing severe winter weather, H-E-B officials announced Feb. 19.

According to the announcement, all Greater Houston-area H-E-B locations are open Feb. 19 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Austin and Central Texas H-E-B locations are open Feb. 19 from noon-5 p.m.

Additionally, Central Market stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are open Feb. 19 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. The Houston location is open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. In Austin, the Central Market on North Lamar Boulevard is open Feb. 19 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and the location in the Westgate Shopping Center on South Lamar Boulevard is temporarily closed.

The announcement also states that curbside and home delivery service is temporarily suspended, and the H-E-B & Favor Senior Support phone line is likewise closed Feb. 19. H-E-B pharmacies will be open according to store hours.

In addition to limited store hours and services, H-E-B has also implemented the following per-trip/transaction product purchase limits as of Feb. 19 at all H-E-B stores.
  • Water gallons: limit two
  • Water mulitpack: limit two
  • Baby water gallons: limit two
  • Baby water multipack: limit two
  • Eggs: limit two
  • Milk: limit two
  • Bread: limit two
  • Ice: limit two
  • Charcoal: limit two
  • Propane tanks: limit two
  • Aerosol disinfectant sprays: limit two
  • (Isopropyl) Alcohol swabs: limit two
  • First aid and cleaning gloves: limit two
  • Trial and travel size disinfectant wipes/sprays: limit two
H-E-B officials are also encouraging customers to bring their own grocery bags to the store as some stores are experiencing a low inventory of grocery bags.
