Spring ISD will discuss the results of its community survey about the 2017-18 academic calendar this Thursday.
Spring ISD is still accepting residents' input on two different 2017-18 academic calendar options on Monday. The district's board of trustees will go over the survey results at its workshop meeting later this week.
- Monday is the last day for residents to complete an online survey asking for their opinions on two different Spring ISD 2017-18 academic calendar options. The two options, while similar, propose different start and end dates for the school year. Take the survey here.
- The Thomas Kinkade at PTL Gallery, located on 318 Main Street, Ste. A, Spring, celebrates its one-year anniversary on Monday. - Spring ISD board of trustees will hold a workshop meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Gordon M. Anderson Leadership Center, 16717 Ella Blvd., Houston. While the board does not take action during work session meetings, it will hear the 2017-18 academic calendar year survey results at the meeting. This meeting is open to the public.
- The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce hosts a meet and greet on Wednesday, May 3, from 5-7 p.m. at the Northgate Country Club, 17110 Northgate Forest Drive, Houston, for its Cinco de Derby celebration. This networking event is open to the public and admission is $10.
- The Houston Chamber Ringers, a handbell choir, is celebrating its fifth birthday with a musical performance on Friday.
