Economic Outlook Forum 2017

Expert local and national minds forecast Houston’s economy during this annual economic event at Southwestern Energy’s campus in Springwoods Village. This year's speakers include U.S. Rep. Breakfast with the Bunny

Preserve opening

Harris County Precinct 4's 80-acre Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve will be open to the public Saturday. Activities include nature presentations, canoeing and pontoon boat rides touring the preserve's 40-acre Marshall Lake. Texas Wine & Art Festival

Texas wineries offer old favorites as well as new wines for sampling and purchasing as Texas artists showcase their creative art in photography, clothing, handmade jewelry, paintings and crafts. Paws for a Cause

This annual pet adoption and rescue awareness event is sponsored by Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene. Proceeds collected from sponsors and contributors will be donated directly to area rescue groups in Klein, Tomball and Spring.

Attractions include food trucks, music, face painting, a silent auction and shopping. Pet-related activities include adoptions, low-cost vaccinations, expert pet advice and pet chipping.
