May 6
Election Day is May 6 from 7a.m.—7p.m. Residents can cast their ballot at their favored
location with proper identification—which includes an unexpired or expired less then 4 years Texas Driver License, Texas Handgun License, Texas Personal Identification Card, or United States Passport. Texas Election Identification Certificates, United States Military Identification Cards with the person’s photograph, or a United States Birth Certificate with the person’s photograph will also be accepted.
The George Ranch Historical Park, located at 10215 FM 762, Richmond, will have a traditional spring
May Day Celebration. The event will start at 9a.m. at the 1860’s Ryon Prairie Home. Attendees are invited to dance and sing around the May pole in celebration of the arrival of spring. Adults ($10), Seniors ($9), Children ($5), Free four and under and members. 281-343-0218. www.georgeranch.org.

Mugz Coffee Bar is celebrating their tenth anniversary with a block party at 503 FM 359, Richmond. There will be free drinks, food, field games, and the Rosenberg Animal Shelter will bring some of their dogs for people to play with and adopt. 3-6p.m. 832-595-0009.

Comic Book Day will be a celebrating of comics at the George Memorial Library, 1003 Golf view Dr., Richmond. There will be activities for attendees as well as a chance for people to discuss their favorite comic series, authors and characters. Free. 1:30p.m.—4p.m.
