Alvin, Friendswood and Pearland ISDs will remain closed through Friday, Feburary 19, according to the districts' websites. No asynchronous learning will take place for students.

Due to loss of power, freezing temperatures and other issues caused by the winter weather event hitting Texas, Pearland, Friendswood and Alvin ISDs will remain closed through Feb. 18.
Pearland ISD students will not participate in asynchronous learning during the closure. The district is continuing to monitor the weather.
No remote learning will occur during the closure for FISD. All extracurricular activities are also canceled and postponed for Feb. 17-18. Plans for school Feb. 19 will be communicated by 6 p.m. Feb. 18 via email, social media and www.myfisd.com.
There will be no on-campus or remote instruction classes for AISD students Feb. 17-18. Additionally, all AISD-sponsored activities scheduled for Feb. 17-18 are canceled or postponed.
