Pearland and Friendswood are experiencing inclement weather, including low temperatures, snow and ice. As a result, many are experiencing power outages.
The city of Friendswood sent out a press release warning residents to stay off the road through the morning of Feb. 16. Mayor Mike Foreman has signed a disaster declaration in case of damage due to severe weather.

The city of Pearland has cancelled its public meetings for Feb. 15.

Pearland and Friendswood ISDs will be having asynchronous classes Feb. 16. Alvin ISD will be closed Feb. 16.
