Quentin Wiltz announced that he is running for Pearland mayor and filed for candidacy Jan. 24. Wiltz works in the oil and gas industry in Houston.
Wiltz hopes to address community growth and the needs that come with it as well as climate, economy and safety if elected, he said.
“It’s time for Pearland to turn the page and write the next chapter of opportunity for thousands of families who choose to call Pearland home,” Wiltz said. “With their continued trust and support, I’m ready to represent them on our City Council as mayor.”
Wiltz also ran for mayor in 2017 and was defeated by Tom Reid.
