The Pearland Parkway traffic circle is expected to go to bid in November and to go to council in December, according to city officials. The project is on track to break ground in January and to be completed in July 2022.
The project will replace the roundabout on Pearland Parkway with a traffic circle, which is deemed safer than a roundabout because it has more lanes and often stop signs and traffic lights.
The project costs $2.2 million and is funded by the city of Pearland 2019 bond.
