The Bailey Road widening project is still on track to finish by the end of 2020, Brazoria County Engineer Matt Hanks said. The project will widen Bailey Road from CR 90 to FM 1128.
The contract for the project does not end until April 2021, so there may still be minor checkpoint items and landscaping after the project is completed, Hanks said. The project began in September 2019.
The project costs $15 million and is funded by Houston-Galveston Area Council's Transportation Improvement Program and by Brazoria County.
