The direct connectors from Loop 610 eastbound to Hwy. 288 northbound and from Loop 610 westbound to Hwy. 288 southbound opened Monday, Aug. 13.

On Aug. 17, construction will begin to demolish the previous connector ramps. Here are closures that will be caused by the construction:

Hwy. 288 will be closed from Holly Hall Street to Loop 610 from 9 p.m., Aug. 17, to noon Aug. 18, from midnight Aug. 19 to 5 a.m. Aug. 20, from 9 p.m., Aug. 24 to 5 a.m., Aug. 27, and from 9 p.m., Sept. 7 to 5 a.m., Sept. 10.

Loop 610 will be closed from Scott Street to Almeda Road from 9 p.m. Aug. 17 to noon Aug. 18, from midnight Aug. 19 to 5 a.m. Aug. 20, from 9 p.m. Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Aug. 27 and from 9 p.m. Sept. 7 to 5 a.m. Sept. 10.

The Hwy. 288 northbound connector to Loop 610 westbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Aug. 17 to noon Aug. 18, from midnight Aug. 19 to 5 a.m. Aug. 20, from 9 p.m. Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Aug. 27 and from 9 p.m. Sept. 7 to 5 a.m. Sept. 10.

The Hwy. 288 southbound connector to Loop 610 eastbound will be closed from 9 p.m. Aug. 17 to noon Aug. 18, from midnight Aug. 19 to 5 a.m. Aug. 20, from 9 p.m. Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Aug. 27 and from 9 p.m. Sept. 7 to 5 a.m. Sept. 10.

On the Brazoria County Expressway, or the portion of the Hwy. 288 that lies in Brazoria County, Hwy. 288 northbound will be closed from the Broadway Street exit ramp to Hickory Slough from 9 p.m. Aug. 15 through 5 a.m. Aug. 16. The intersection at Broadway St. and Hwy. 288 will also be closed during that time.
