In my second term I pledge to work with my colleagues on commissioners court to continue lowering the county tax rate even further. Since I was elected in 2015 we have decrease the tax rate 0.07 cents. I will continue working with our parks department in providing some of the best county parks in Texas. Address and work toward solving our transportation issues. Continuing working with our County Sheriff to provide safe communities. What makes you qualified to hold this office? Being a lifetime Brazoria County resident and a former successful small business owner gives me knowledge as to the needs of the county. What are the biggest issues facing the county? The rapid pace of growth, infrastructure, transportation and addressing our flooding issues.

My term will entail transparency with all the constituents, ensure Brazoria prisons are 100 percent compliant, and means to balance the budget, ensure our elderly and special needs community are considered and met, and bridge the gap between law enforcement and civilians. What makes you qualified to hold this office? I am qualified because I am a registered voter, I am at least 18, and because I know that I can make an impact to ensure Brazoria continues to be the County of all Counties. What are the biggest issues facing the county? I think the biggest issue facing Brazoria is flooding and emergency management.
