Willie’s Grill & Icehouse on Jan. 17 will open its doors at 2600 Smith Ranch Road, Pearland, according to a news release sent by Hometown Social, a public relations and marketing agency working for the chain.

“Pearland is the perfect home for Willie’s: It’s a family-driven, diverse and welcoming community––all characteristics that define Willie’s foundation as well,” Willie’s Restaurants CEO Greg Lippert said in the release. “Through all the incredible challenges of the last couple of years, Willie’s has grown and continues to grow. We believe that’s a testament to our warm service, delicious food and people-first culture, and we are thrilled to be able to bring it all to Pearland.”

The Willie’s Grill & Icehouse location in Pearland will be the 19th in the state and will be only the second restaurant to feature an expansive full bar, according to the news release.

The restaurant will also have open-air patio spaces with five massive flat screen TVs and retractable glass garage doors, according to the release. The chain also made donations to Pearland ISD and the Pearland Police Department.

The chain is known for The Icehouse Willie burger, the catfish and shrimp combo, and the location’s bar will also serve regional brews, Willie’s Frozen Jack & Coke, Willie’s Ritas, other Texas-inspired craft cocktails and an “exclusive” cocktail menu for the Pearland location, according the release.

Willie’s in Pearland will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., the release said.
