Forest Park South Funeral Home, located at 12560 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, opened for services the week of Dec. 27.

Forest Park South Funeral Home is owned by Dignity Memorial, which is the brand for Service Corporation International, a provider of funeral, cemetery and cremation services, according to a Service Corporation International news release. Forest Park South Funeral Home will hold its grand opening Jan. 20 where it will give away five $1,000 scholarships to local high school students who submitted artwork and will also have it displayed in the funeral home.
