Pearland ISD will close its schools the week of March 16 to prevent the exposure of coronavirus to students and staff, according to a press release.

All district extracurricular activities are suspended until further notice.

The district will evaluate any future closings no later than March 20 and if necessary, will begin offering distance learning options for students.
