Alvin Community College's campus will remain closed through March 30. Classes will resume on March 30, but will be held online only. Some campus buildings will reopen but some will remain closed for cleaning, according to a press release sent out by the college.

“We are extending the closure of our campus to protect our students, staff and community,” ACC President Dr. Christal M. Albrecht said in the release. “Once we open we are moving our classes to an online format indefinitely.”

According to the release, these changes also apply to dual enrollment programs, including those at University of Houston-Clear Lake, Pearland ISD and Alvin ISD.

Students that require technological services may come to ACC for those after the 30th, the release stated.
