Quote of note
“The program will allow participants to gain a first hand experience with city departments and to learn about our strategic priorities and key initiatives, and then be able to engage directly with leaders,” Pearland City Secretary Frances Aguilar told Community Impact Feb. 6
Officials hope the experience will offer participants a first-hand experience with the city’s departments and help them engage directly with city leaders and processes, Aguilar said.
“We are so excited about this program. Other people have wanted to have something similar, it was just never the right time for it ... now everything's coming to fruition,” Aguilar said.
