Paint Your Pet

At this creative event, attendees send in a photo of their pet to be sketched by a portrait artist at the Friendswood Painting With A Twist venue. Attendees will choose a canvas and finish the artistic rendering with guidance from staff.Old Pearland Farmers Market

Hosted monthly at Independence Park, the market features locally-sourced, seasonal produce and handcrafted items. Items include gourmet popcorn, jams and jellies, dried herbs and seasonings, and other kitchen items. Each month’s market supports a local nonprofit.Movies on the Lawn

This nonprofit foundation, which supports services for children with cancer, funds pediatric research and treatment, and provides educational resources to the public on pediatric cancer, will hold a 5K and 10K run, and a 5K walk at the Pearland Town Center. This event takes place during Childhood Cancer Awareness month and will also feature a kids zone with activities.Christmas in September

This artisan market at the Friendswood Activity Building offers two days of holiday shopping. Attendees can find crafts, jewelry, candles, toys and food trucks on site at the event.

Latin Festival

Visit the Houston Methodist Pavilion at Pearland Town Center to celebrate Latin cultures with live performances, multiple food vendors, cultural items, clothing and ballet folklorico. Hosted by the Brazoria County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, there will also be Hispanic Hero Scholarship awards.
