The overview
Both programs will offer associate degrees in applied science, with one being in marketing, advertising and sales, and the other being integrated technologies, according to a Feb. 24 news release from the college.
The marketing, advertising and sales degree will train students in public relations, e-commerce, digital advertising and sales, the news release notes.
The integrated technologies degree was designed to meet the high demand for workers in the Information Technology field. The degree will focus on IT infrastructure, network administration, software development, data security and programming, according to the news release.

The board of regents, according to the release, also approved the creation of advanced technical certificates in the following categories through the design engineering technology department:
- Pipe systems design
- Civil structural design
- Mechanical design
The degrees and certificates will start being offered in the fall, according to the news release.
