The gist
During the event, students can take care of any outstanding back-to-school preparations, such as finalizing the admissions process, registering for classes, changing their schedule or visiting with an advisor, the release states.
Food, T-shirts and more will be provided to participating students throughout the day, according to the release. Those attending will be entered in a drawing for a $500 scholarship.
Back to Campus Friday will be an all-day event from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. at the college, located at 3110 Mustang Road, Alvin.
One more thing
Registration for the spring semester is now open and will close on Jan. 9, according to the release. Late registration is between Jan. 10-15 and will incur a $50 fee. Classes begin on Jan. 16.
