State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness scores have been released, and a majority of Pearland ISD schools yielded higher results than the state average.

Across PISD, most individual schools also scored above the state average. When it came to third and fourth grade STAAR reading and math scores, each individual campus was higher than the state average except H.C. Carleston, whose third grade reading and math scores were below.

When it comes to fifth and sixth grade STAAR scores, which include assessments in reading, writing and fifth grade science, all individual campuses scored higher than the state average.

For seventh and eighth grade STAAR scores, which include exams in reading, writing, eighth grade science and eighth grade social studies, all individual campuses notched higher scores than the state average.

End-of-course STAAR exams for high school students were also above the state average in 2022.
