Urban Bird Hot Chicken is opening a new location in Pearland in 2025, according to filings from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, or TDLR.

The project, totaling $200,000 and covering roughly 2,100 square feet, was filed on Nov. 27, according to the TDLR website.

Urban Bird also has the Pearland location listed as coming soon its website. The website does not include an opening date, but the TDLR filing shows the project is expected to wrap up in late July after starting in January.

Urban Bird has multiple locations across Texas, including 17 locations in the Greater Houston area either now open or coming soon, according to its website.

Items on the menu include chicken tenders, sandwiches, a sampler plate, fries, macaroni and cheese, and desserts, among other items, according to the business' website. The business advertises itself as having no antibiotics or hormones.
