According to a release, the firm plans to create a storefront on the property with “enhanced visibility from the freeway.” After developing the north-facing part of the 20,000-square-foot property, the release stated the firm plans to lease it to either a large retail tenant or several smaller retailers.
“With the property’s visibility from I-45 combined with its proximity to the super regional Baybrook Mall, I’m confident this redevelopment will add significant value to the community,” Baker Katz broker Ben Brown said in a statement.
The firm previously announced last June the acquisition of a 108,000-square-foot shopping center at I-45 and FM 518 in League City.
