South Houston suburb Pearland has grown rapidly over the course of the last five years, as the population has increased nearly 21% since 2013. The median age of the Pearland resident is in the mid-30s. The monthly home value has also increased for the city since 2013.
Haley Morrison came to Community Impact Newspaper in 2017 after graduating from Baylor University. She was promoted to editor in February 2019. Haley primarily covers city government.
