Brazoria County is reporting 125 new coronavirus cases July 8, a new daily high, as well as 57 recoveries.

Of the 125 new cases, eight of the individuals are 0-9 years old, seven are 10-19 years old, 18 are 20-29 years old, 25 are 30-39 years old, 19 are 40-49 years old, 22 are 50-59 years old, 15 are 60-69 years old, seven are 70-79 years old and four are 80 or older. As of July 8, all age brackets have more confirmed cases than recoveries.

Of the 125 new cases, 41 of the individuals are Pearland residents, seven are Alvin residents, nine are Angleton residents, 21 are Lake Jackson residents, five are Manvel residents, nine are Clute residents, six are Iowa Colony residents, three are Freeport residents, seven are Richwood residents, one is a West Columbia resident, six are Sweeny residents, two are Liverpool residents, two are Jones creek residents, two are Oyster Creek residents, one is a Brookside Village resident and three are Bailey's Prairie residents.
