Brazoria County reported 405 confirmed coronavirus cases June 2, 12 cases more than June 1. Eleven of the 12 reported cases are confirmed.

The county is also reporting 517 recoveries and 12 deaths. The number of deaths has not changed since June 1; there are 20 more recoveries June 2 than there were June 1.

Of the 11 cases, eight are in Pearland; one is in Angleton; one is in Lake Jackson; and one is in Freeport. One of the individuals is 20-29 years old; four are 30-39 years old; two are 40-49 years old; one is 50-59 years old; two are 60-69 years old; and one is 80+ years old.

According to the county's social media, two of the new cases are Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmates.
