On May 20, Brazoria County reported 10 additional COVID-19 cases as well as 12 recoveries. One of the cases is probable.

There are now 805 total cases of the new coronavirus in Brazoria County, with 381 active confirmed cases, 6 probable, 407 recoveries and 11 deaths.

One of the new cases reported May 20 is a nursing home employee at a Pearland nursing facility. Within the last two weeks there have been over 40 nursing home resident or employee cases in Brazoria County.

The Brazoria County Health Department is working with state health departments to test all nursing home residents and employees.
