Brazoria County reported nine new coronavirus cases and seven recoveries May 19. Two of the new cases are Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmates.

This brings the total case count for the county to 795. This includes 383 confirmed cases, six probable cases, 395 recoveries and 11 deaths.

The other reported COVID-19 cases consist of four Pearland residents, including one 10- to 19-year-old patient, a woman from Alvin, a man from Manvel and a man from Richwood.
