Hurricane Harvey dropped more than 30 inches over the Greater Houston area with Friendswood being one of the hardest hit areas in southeast Houston.
Parts of Friendswood received nearly 50 inches of rain since Aug. 25, according to the National Weather Service, which is a record breaking total for a tropical storm.

Parts of Pearland have seen up to 38 inches of rain since Saturday, Aug. 26.
