Aki Steak & Sushi and Five Guys will also soon join recently opened businesses at the development before the end of 2025, according to a March 18 news release from Weitzman, the commercial developers behind the project.

The new Lowe's will span 107,135 square feet and also include a 34,4420-square-foot garden, per the release. Lowe's has more than 1,700 locations, and sells appliances; building supplies; flooring; and lawn and garden decor and accessories.
Lowe's is anticipated to open in late-2025 at 21606 Hwy. 288, Manvel, Weitzman representatives confirmed.

Aki Steak & Sushi
The family-owned Asian eatery serves nigiri and specialty sushi rolls, as well as Japanese and Chinese entrees—such as Bento boxes and fried rice.
The leasing team for Manvel Town Center said they are currently working with nearly 70 letters of intent, which are documents that outline the early terms and conditions of a potential agreement between a landlord and a tenant. According to the release, this means they expect another round of tenants to be announced by the end of spring.
Upon completion, Manvel Town Center is designed to incorporate more than one million square feet of retail, entertainment, hospitality, medical and office space, per the release.
