A new McDonalds will open in Alvin on Feb. 1, according to a social media post from the owner. To celebrate, the location will have a grand opening event, including face painting, animal balloons and prizes.

McDonald's is a global fast food chain serving burgers, fries, chicken nuggets and desserts, among other items.
