A medical co-working space opened in Pearland this summer, co-founder Ronak Vyas confirmed.

The details

MedCoShare provides flexible office space, administrative support and leasing to health care providers, according to the business’ website.

“Traditionally, co-working has just been for creatives or general businesses. This was made for doctors to have [the same] flexibility,” Vyas said. “It makes it simple and easy to start a practice or a satellite location.”

How it works

Vyas said most doctors have to buy the real estate and get into a long term lease to open an office—often before even knowing what their needs are.

At the new Pearland location, health and wellness practitioners can rent turn-key clinical rooms either part-time or full-time.

Currently, there’s a telehealth company at the Pearland MedCoShare, as well as interest to rent space from chiropractors and estheticians, Vyas said.

“In Philadelphia, we have EMT groups, physical therapists, dermatologists [at our facilities]—it’s a wide range,” Vyas said.
