Best Buy has joined Walmart, Kroger and Sam's Club in requiring face coverings in stores for both customers and employees. The company released a statement requiring face coverings as of July 15. Best Buy will provide a face covering if a customer does not have one, the release stated.
"Although the risk of infection cannot be completely eliminated as long as there is community spread of COVID-19, we’re grateful to our customers and employees for working together to do what we can to keep us all safe," the release stated.
Small children and those who cannot wear a face covering due to health concerns may shop without one, according to Best Buy.
