Friendswood is a small city in South Houston that is growing steadily. Over the past five years, the city’s median age has stayed at 41 with 6.26% population growth in the city. Despite being hit hard by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, the city’s median home value has increased since 2013.
Haley Morrison came to Community Impact Newspaper in 2017 after graduating from Baylor University. She was promoted to editor in February 2019. Haley primarily covers city government.
