Starting Jan. 1, those with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas insurance will be able to receive in-network care at Kelsey-Seybold, according to a press release sent out by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.

This includes any care at Kelsey-Seybold clinics, including the Pearland location, but Blue Cross and Blue Shield members should check with the provider to make sure their specific plan is included in the new agreement, Kelsey-Seybold officials said.

This agreement was made to offer more access to care to Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Kelsey-Seybold patients, Kelsey-Seybold officials said.

"We are excited to be in-network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield Texas and offer our proven model of accountable care to patients, families, and employers in the region,” Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Chairman Tony Lin, M.D. said in a press release.
