With all 32 precincts reporting, Carmyn Robey-Robinson has won her bid for Place 4 on Manvel City Council, according to unofficial election results from Brazoria County.
In Position 6, which saw three people competing, no candidate received the majority, meaning a runoff will be needed, according to city code.
Currently, Garrett Rossi Knox is the leader of the race with 523 votes, or 40.8% of the vote, unofficial results show. Robina Spruill is behind Knox with 496 votes, or 38.69% of the vote. Kat Ducommun rounds out the group with 263 votes, or 20.51% of the vote.
In Position 4, Robey-Robinson received 679 votes, or 54.28% of the vote, to incumbent Ed Perry's 572 votes, or 45.72%, according to unofficial results.
With a runoff likely to occur, Knox said May 3 he was set to continue his campaign.
"We're just going to keep running the race strong," he said. "We were honored to be the top vote-getter. we're just going to keep moving forward and rallying our people."
Spruill and Robey-Robinson could not be reached for comment on May 3.

Polls are beginning to close across Texas for a number of local races, including several in Brazoria County and two in Manvel.
As of 7 p.m., unofficial results from Brazoria County show Carmyn Robey-Robinson and Garrett Rossi Knox leading their respective races for Manvel City Council.
Results are not final until canvassed at a later date and are subject to change throughout the night.
What you need to know
With 370 votes, or 51.82%, Robey-Robinson is leading the race for Manvel City Council Position 4, according to unofficial election results. Ed Perry, the incumbent, has 344 votes, or 48.18%.
Meanwhile, Knox is leading the race for Position 6 with 331 votes, or 45.1%, unofficial results show. Rounding out that race are Robin Spruill with 241 votes, or 32.83%, and Kat Ducommun with 162 votes, or 22.07%.
While Knox is leading in Position 6, someone in that race will need to obtain more than 50% of the vote to avoid a runoff, according to city code.
Mayor Dan Davis confirmed May 2 that a date for a possible runoff has not been set yet and will be determined at a later date if needed.
In his Q&A response to Community Impact for Position 4, Perry said his top priority is to continue working toward “smart growth strategies” to help expand economic development and generate revenue for infrastructure, services and other maintenance.
Robey-Robinson in her Q&A said her top priority was also strategic growth to help Manvel expand in a way that doesn’t place the burden on residents. Dining and entertainment options, and supporting local businesses were some ways to do this, she said.

In her Q&A for Position 6, Ducommun said her biggest priorities were the city’s drainage and inclusive parks projects.
Knox in his Q&A said he wanted better roads, drainage, and more parks and green space, among other priorities.
Spruill said in her Q&A she wanted to support local businesses and enhance safety, while also improving infrastructure.
