The District Educational Improvement Committee developed three versions of the academic calendar and gathered feedback from staff and community members, district officials said.
Based on the feedback received, “Draft A” was selected as the preferred calendar option.
According to district documents, scheduled breaks for PISD include the following dates:
- Fall break: Oct. 9-12
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 23-27
- Winter break: Dec. 21-Jan. 1, 2027
- Spring break: March 8-12, 2027
- Labor Day: Sept. 7
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 18, 2027
- Easter: March 26-29, 2027
- Memorial Day: May 31, 2027
- Early release: Dec. 18 and May 27, 2027
The calendar includes 15 staff in-service days throughout the school year.
Graduation ceremonies will be held Wednesday through Friday before Memorial Day at Pearland Stadium, located at 3775 S. Main St., Pearland, district officials said.
