A number of locations throughout Spring and Klein and the surrounding area are collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Marine Toys for Tots program through early December.
First Choice Emergency Rooms throughout the Greater Houston area are collecting unwrapped toys for children through age 12 through Dec. 9, according to a news release from Adeptus Health, which operates the facilities. The locations are open 24/7.
The following First Choice locations are near the Spring and Klein area:
- First Texas Hospital: 9922 Louetta Road, Houston
- Houston-Fallbrook: 13338 Hwy. 249, Houston
- Houston-Jones Road: 9530 Jones Road, Houston
- The Woodlands: 10815 Kuykendahl Road, The Woodlands
- The Woodlands-Creekside: 26306 Kuykendahl Road, Tomball
- Spring-Gleannloch: 8929 Spring Cypress Road, Spring
Mangum-Howell Center’s Doss Advisory Council is also partnering with Houston Children’s Charity and the Marine Toys for Tots Program to provide toys for children in need, according to a Harris County news release. Magnum-Howell Center is part of the Precinct 4 parks network. The center, located at 2500 Frick Road, Houston, is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Donations are accepted through Dec. 3, according to the news release. Gordmans is collecting toys through Dec. 4 at its locations, including the new Gordmans store at 21356 Kuykendahl Road, Spring, according to a news release from the retail chain. The store is open from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
